Apply two or three pumps to clean skin, day and/or night, alone or under makeup. A slight tingle is normal as your skin adjusts to the active ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only.

Just 2-3 pumps are enough for a full-face application. Be sure to rub your hands together after application to ensure any excess product gets absorbed into your hands. Hydrated hands are always a good thing.

Because of the importance of collagen for skin elasticity, tone and texture as we age, all Pause products contain our proprietary Pause Complex, designed to help spark the body’s production of collagen and improve skin density and hydration. The Collagen Boosting Moisturizer also includes Kakadu Plum, Progeline - a powerful peptide, Glycolic Acid, Niacinamide, glycerin, coconut extract, and Avocado Oil to help improve skin elasticity, volume, hydration and radiance.
We do not recommend using the Collagen Boosting Moisturizer with a separate Retinol product as it may cause sensitivity. If you are using a Retinol product, we suggest either alternating use (e.g. Retinol at night, and the Collagen Moisturizer during the day) or using our Moisture-Lock Ultra Hydrator or Complete Face Serum instead depending on your texture and hydration level preference. It’s important to know which ingredients play well together versus those that might cause sensitivity when paired together. Glycolic acid and retinol are 2 such ingredients that do not play well together.
The tingle is temporary as your skin gets used to the actives, specifically glycolic acid which is a superstar ingredient for exfoliating and promoting cell turnover. It can also occur based on water type – soft water seems to increase the tingle factor. If the tingle is too unpleasant, another option would be to try our Moisture Lock Ultra Hydrator which is excellent for sensitive skin in need of hydration and will not cause any type of tingle sensation.

Our Collagen Boosting Moisturizer is typically white in color, however, because of the clean preservatives we use, it is possible for color to shift and the product to appear darker and even grayish in color. This is totally fine and is just part of clean beauty.
